Prostate CancerCancer is abnormal growth of cells. Prostate cancer is cancer that forms in the prostate organ. The prostate organ is part of the male reproductive system that is responsible for the production of fluid that enriches and protects the sperms. The prostate is located immediately below the bladder and just in front of the bowels. CAUSES • There is no special cause, but there risk factors associated with it: • Age-more common in men above 50 years. • Diet-especially fat rich diet. • Smoking • Family history SYMPTOMS There are no warning signs of early prostate cancer. Once a tumor causes the prostate gland to swell, or once cancer spreads beyond the prostate, the following symptoms may happen: • A frequent need to urinate, especially at night • Difficulty starting or stopping of urine • A weal or interruption urinary stream • Leaking of urine when laughing or coughing • Inability to urinate when standing up • A painful or burning sensation during urination or ejaculation • Blood in urine or semen CALL YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT PROSTATE CANCER IF: • You have trouble urinat
